SUBJECT: RoHS STATEMENT - Power resistors

The RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC restricts the amount of six environmentally hazardous substances found in electrical and electronic equipment: lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, PBB, PBDE.

The use of the substances listed in the above Directive was analyzed carefully.

ATE assures that limits of 0,1% for lead, mercury, chromium, PBB, PBDE and 0,01% for cadmium are observed.

Some traces of the above materials could be present as impurities in the raw material but they are not intentionally added.

We have to point out that we do not measure the content of these impurities in our products.

The current status of compliance for our products is summarised in the table below.

Many products constructed before the compliant date are in any case within the limits indicated above, however all products can be used at temperatures for "lead free" applications (up to 270°C).

The ordering codes will not change as the Pb free parts are backward compatible with SnPb soldering process.

The Pb free status is pointed out in the first level packaging with an acronym LF after the lot code and the RoHS compliance is identified on the final packaging by the symbol below.
